Welcome to Resistalloy Trading Limited
Resistalloy has over 30 years experience in the supply of metallic electrical resistance materials, primarily Fecralloy and Nickel Chrome alloys. They also supply Cupro-nickel alloys (Cu-Ni) for very low electrical resistivity applications.
Resistalloy reacts to today''s markets and delivers unrivalled service to supply high temperature steels and alloys in wire, strip, foil, bar, tube products and elements, including heater elements, glass Furnace elements and many more.
Fecralloy is a unique alloy composed of Cr, Al and FE which excels in a variety of high temperature applications up to 1400 degrees C.
Fecralloy is commonly used in the form of wire and strip for industrial and domestic electrical elements. Bars are used for electrical elements, lead out bars and fuel cells. Strip is used for industrial resistors and rheostats in electric trains. Also tubes are generally used for thermocouple covers in furnaces and fuel cells applications.
We are finding that Fecralloy is being used for many new projects and applications due to it''s variery of positive characteristics, which include:
- Longer high temperature life
- Greater oxidation resistance
- Improved form stability
- Performance capabilities up to 1400 degrees C
A range of FECRAL and NICR alloys are available ,designed for use up to 1400 degrees C, in most atmospheric enviroments. Also available are a range of Cu-Ni alloys with low electrical resitivity for maximum use up to 600oC. They also have excellent resistance to seawater corrosion.
